In December our family will be taking a 2 week mission trip to Cambodia and Thailand. Halas de Phos is raising funds to minister to orphans and streeet children while we are there. In order to raise the funds we will be selling raffle tickets for handmade Cambodian souveniers. If you have questions, please email them. We will be giving more information soon.

We have officially reach our goal- and passed it! We have raised 1,120 dollars, 120 more dollars past our goal! We will be using the extra money to purchase 1 extra goat, and to stock 1 extra fish pond. Thank you to everyone who donated and made it possible- we couldn't have done it without you!

Sorry we didn't get around to writing a post for week 2. We were so busy with ministry preprations, we didn't actually get around to writing the report itself. So, the amount raised in week three brought our total to $1,050! That's $50 past our goal! Praise God. In case you're wondering, we will use the extra $50 to provide for fishing supplies that can accompany the five fish ponds. So, in total we raised $1,052 to provide five dairy goats, stock five fish ponds, provide one set of fishing supplies, and dig one freshwater well. Thank you to everyone who donated to make this possible.

Yes! We have officialy gotten permission from the church to collect donations during coffee hour! We will be there through July 15, be sure to stop by our stand. Remember, if you donate 20,000 won or more you get your pick of a potholder handmade by us.

We just started this blog to keep everyone updated on how much we raise. From now on, all our ministry updates will be listed here weekly.

Total amount needed: $1,000 (about 1,126,000 KRW)

Amount raised: $453 (510,135 KRW)

Amount still needed: $547 (616,183.80 KRW)

Some people were asking us specifically what the thousand dollars would provide for. 350 dollars will buy 5 dairy goats, 250 dollars will stock 5 church's fish pond's, and 400 dollars will pay for 1 hand dug well. If you have any questions, feel free to post them here.
